From fuzzy squash to bok choy, elderberries to goat’s milk, Greenbelt farmers are beginning to produce new ethnic foods to meet Ontario’s changing tastes while also keeping our food system local and sustainable.

Where is the Greenbelt?

Greenbelt stretches 325 km from Rice Lake in Northumberland County to the Niagara River and is about 80 kilometers wide at its widest point.
